Aims and activities

Based on member feedback, we piloted the EIIG to help philanthropic investors learn more about how to invest for positive environmental impact, while building a network of investors who know and trust one another.

The pilot year of the EIIG included a diverse group of trusts, foundations and individuals to learn more about environmental impact investing.

The programme consisted of three elements – a learning programme, live Market Information Days and networking with fellow members and investors. Across 2024, participants engaged with eight, 1.5 hour learning sessions on topics like different types of impact investing, regulatory frameworks, due diligence, DEI for impact investing and more. Participants were invited to three Market Information Days, where they heard from a diverse selection of investment opportunities and were able to network with their peers.

How to get involved

The EIIG is currently on pause after its pilot year and EFN hopes for this programme to go live later in 2025.

You can register your interest in joining the next year of the EIIG. For any questions, please contact tara@greenfunders.org
