Aims and activities

FREA is a diverse group of funding organisations, networks and individuals working together to achieve race equality in the UK.

FREA believe that funders play a pivotal role in tackling racial inequality by delivering sustained investment with, in and for Black and Minoritised Ethnic communities to thrive. FREA was the only membership funding network dedicated to taking a progressive approach to philanthropy, with racial justice, equity, and equality at its heart.

How to get involved

FREA have decided to end the network’s current operations.  FREA’s steering group, with the support of Equally Ours, regretfully concluded that the network could not continue with the resources available.

FREA plans to preserve the network’s learning and legacy for the wider sector.

You can contact us via frealliance@equallyours.org.uk for more information.
